Legal Experience

Adam represents clients in a broad range of matters, including the following:

Real Estate:

Representation of sellers, buyers, developers, and equity investors in the acquisition, (including multi-asset acquisitions), financing, development, leasing and sale of improved and unimproved real estate properties and representation of corporate clients in the management of their real estate assets, including:

  • representation of a national real estate firm in the acquisition, leasing, sale and development of commercial real estate properties
  • representation of a subsidiary of a $2 billion private equity capital group in providing mezzanine and related equity investments in developed and undeveloped real estate projects in several states
  • representation of an international S&P 500 semiconductor company in all aspects of its domestic real estate matters
  • representation of an international commercial real estate services company in the leasing and management of its real estate properties in Texas

Finance:

Representation of financial institutions, borrowers, and private investors in real estate loan and commercial transactions, including the sale and purchase of secured debt instruments, mezzanine lending, workouts, foreclosures and litigation.

Bankruptcy:

Representation of secured and unsecured creditors in all types of bankruptcy cases and matters, including lift-stay litigation, assumption/rejection of leases, objections to exemptions, discharge actions, contesting reorganization plans and defense of preference/fraudulent transfer litigation.

Personal

Outside of work, Adam loves to spend time with his family [wife Rhonda of 27 years, son Micah (21) and daughter Alana (18)], take his dog (a twelve year-old pug) to the dog park, deliver meals on wheels, and read mysteries, mostly procedurals and crime fiction. All are a great escape from the daily pressures and demands of practicing law and help him keep things in perspective.
