Legal Experience
Chris Reeder's practice is concentrated in the area of administrative law with an emphasis in electric industry matters. Mr. Reeder has represented participants in numerous areas of the electric industry, including competitive retail providers, independent power producers, power marketers, utilities, municipal utilities, and consumers. Mr. Reeder has also participated extensively in the negotiations and contested cases at the Texas Public Utility Commission to implement the 1999 electric industry restructuring legislation. In addition to regulatory matters, he advises clients on power plant development and financing issues and represents electric industry clients in commercial litigation. He also represents clients in energy and oil and gas litigation matters.
