Legal Experience

Lynn Butler is a member of the Bankruptcy and Business Restructuring Section of the Firm. He is Board Certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the Texas Board Of Legal Specialization and has been since 1996. His practice consists of commercial bankruptcy and corporate reorganization, specializing in workouts, reorganizations, asset sales and bankruptcy litigation. Mr. Butler's practice also includes representation of clients in disputes with the State of Texas with emphasis on State Tax defense. For eight years, he was an Assistant Attorney General with the Texas Attorney General's Office in its Bankruptcy & Collection Division.
