Legal Experience
Travis Phillips represents investors, developers and lenders in commercial real estate matters. He regularly counsels clients on legal issues that arise in connection with the ownership, acquisition, disposition and leasing of real property. He also has extensive experience representing banks and financial institutions in making loans secured by real property and other collateral, as well as in representing lien holders in foreclosure proceedings. In addition, Travis has experience with entitlement issues and advises clients on the process and procedures for the development of real property.
In addition to his commercial real estate practice, Travis is also a member of the firm’s water and land conservation practice group. He assists clients in the drafting and negotiation of conservation easements, development of mitigation banks, and other conservation-related issues.
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Travis is an active member of his community. He serves in a leadership capacity in several local and statewide charitable organizations, and is a frequent and enthusiastic participant in leadership training programs. A seasoned traveler, Travis has visited over twenty countries on six continents. He shares his love of domestic and foreign travel with his wife, Ashley. Together, they are the proud parents of two young children, Lily and Landon.
