Medical office leasing poses unique challenges for landlords and tenants.  In particular, the arrangement must be structured in compliance with the "Stark Law" and the "Anti-Kickback Statute" when applicable, or the parties risk penalties.  Other critical areas in medical leasing are rights to sublease or assign, exclusivity, finish-out of the space, equipment and/or staff leasing, and personally guarantying a lease.  Learn how to avoid these potential pitfalls, address short term goals for the practice, ensure future expansion or retirement plans are taken into account, and reduce liability and risk. Eligible for 1 hour of Texas MCLE credit through 6/30/12.
